But wait, there's more.

There's just no polite way to say "Buy me things", is there?

In which our plucky young hero thinks it could have real-life applications.

Tomorrow I'm going to watch the Monterey Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.

Is this because I am a devoted CART fan, and I've been eagerly following the entire season? Nope. (I'm a Formula 1 man, thank you.)

Is this because I want to see if Paul Tracy will achieve the victory he was cruelly denied at Indianapolis? Nope. (I'd be very damn disappointed if I was, because Tracy and Castroneves are in different leagues, and Castroneves won't be racing.)

Is it because Laguna Seca is one of the tracks in Gran Turismo 3, and I want to pick up tips on how to drive it?

On second thought, let's go back to the Paul Tracy thing.

(Addendum 6/9 2:25pm: I initially thought that Tracy wouldn't be at Laguna Seca because the Indy 500 was an IRL event and Laguna Seca is CART. But no... he's sixteenth on the grid today. I have officially given up trying to figure out American racing.)
