The biggest barrier to online shopping, according to Kubas, is that consumers still aren't comfortable with sending financial information over the Internet.

As opposed to what, sending financial information out to every pizza shop, bookstore, coffee shop, mall kiosk, and restaurant they pay by credit card?

Of all the things I'm worried about online, having my credit card number stolen by Nefarious Forces is right at the bottom.

Of course, that won't prevent me from paying for pizza by credit card. Gotta eat somehow.
