I must say I'm impressed by the Conservative child care plan, which is marked by the following policy planks:

1. Give people $1200 for every child
2. Child care apparently exists

This new "money without accountability" attitude promises great things for Canada. Look for the following Conservative announcements as the campaign continues:

• Education: A revised student loan program, where every college student in the country gets a Canada Savings Bond worth $1000 during their first year and increasing to $4000 in their fourth year.
• Economic development: A training program for the skilled trades, where everyone who qualifies for an apprenticeship gets a $2500 cheque made out to "Occupant".
• R&D or international trade or whatever, we'll make up a name for this one later: A small manila envelope stuffed with unmarked, nonsequential twenty-dollar bills, and it's got your name on it!

Vote Conservative: because they've already agreed what you are, and they're willing to negotiate about the price.
