There's just no polite way to say "Buy me things", is there?

In which our plucky young hero gives equal time.

From the Washington Post, the opinion of the Reverend (cough) Jerry Falwell:

"The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say, 'You helped this happen.'"

Congratulations, Rev. (cough) Falwell. You just reaffirmed my faith in liberalism. At least the arguments from the leftists I chewed out in my last entry have the advantage of being grounded in historical fact, but it's just not the time for them.

This little outburst from the (cough) reverend, though? I don't have the words to contain and map the outrage I feel that such thoughts are even possible for any person right now. I just can't speak.
